Omid Neyzari
Software Engineering Manager

I had a feeling that Emmes would be an excellent match for my interest in programming, productivity and just feeling good about the work I do. I am glad that my hunch has over the years turned out to be true to a degree that I could not have imagined at the time.
How I describe our firm to other peopleWe are a well-organized company that helps run clinical trials, making it possible to arrive at conclusions that save and improve human lives while avoiding risk.
A bit about meI love my family and I enjoy home improvement. The former requires much of the latter, so all works out and I’m a happy man.
How I chose my careerI have always been interested in creating things that are technical in nature. A passion that started with Legos in childhood continued onto engineering in college and eventually led to software as a career.
The best part about working hereGood work is recognized at Emmes.
My backgroundI have been working in IT since 1996 and for the most part those years have been at Emmes. After college, I worked for a local government agency where I gained experience in IT operations and programming. I joined Emmes as a programmer in 2000 and became a manager in 2005.
