Omid Neyzari

Software Engineering Manager

Why I joined Emmes

I had a feeling that Emmes would be an excellent match for my interest in programming, productivity and just feeling good about the work I do. I am glad that my hunch has over the years turned out to be true to a degree that I could not have imagined at the time.

How I describe our firm to other people

We are a well-organized company that helps run clinical trials, making it possible to arrive at conclusions that save and improve human lives while avoiding risk.

A bit about me

I love my family and I enjoy home improvement. The former requires much of the latter, so all works out and I’m a happy man.

How I chose my career

I have always been interested in creating things that are technical in nature. A passion that started with Legos in childhood continued onto engineering in college and eventually led to software as a career.

The best part about working here

Good work is recognized at Emmes.

My background

I have been working in IT since 1996 and for the most part those years have been at Emmes. After college, I worked for a local government agency where I gained experience in IT operations and programming. I joined Emmes as a programmer in 2000 and became a manager in 2005.
