Abstract
The US Preventive Services Task Force now recommends screening for drug use in adult primary care patients, and alcohol screening has been guideline-recommended for decades. Primary care clinics frequently struggle to choose the approach that is best suited to their resources, workflows, and patient populations. To inform these decisions, we conducted a multi-site study to inform the implementation and feasibility of electronic health record (EHR)-integrated screening.
