Vaccines and Infectious Diseases

Improving Human Health Through Responsive Collaboration.

Our range of therapeutic expertise is expansive. So, we tailor it to your needs.

For example, our infectious disease team has collaborated on studies of almost every major health crisis for the last forty years, from HIV to H1N1, Zika to SARS, MERS and COVID-19.

In the case of COVID-19, our clinical researchers proactively innovated and accelerated timelines for testing vaccine and therapeutic efficacy, embracing new ways of working while ensuring all study objectives were met.

And our expertise enabled study launch less than 4 days from receipt of protocol and the scientific community is accessing our study data to find new vaccines and treatments.

We’ve also supported clients on trials involving influenza, encephalitis, malaria, pneumonia, yellow fever, Avian flu and other diseases.

Clinical Research Experience

Our Experience. Your Advantage.

Our unique skillset gives a fresh perspective to your clinical vaccine research.

Working at the intersection of private and public healthcare, we help biopharmaceutical companies and disease-based foundations develop therapies, while also carrying out infectious disease clinical trials and epidemiological studies for The National Institutes of Health and other government agencies. More than 500 at the last count.

Our 20+ year collaboration with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) also gives us unique scientific, logistical and operational insight into managing vaccine and infectious disease studies worldwide.

What we learn from our biopharmaceutical, foundation, university and government agency collaborators, we pass on to you. Because we know it’s the best way to advance human health and protect people everywhere from infectious diseases.

Phase I-IV Clinical Research Expertise

Overcoming Challenge Through Collaboration

Our established relationships with healthcare organisations and professionals support Phase I-IV studies that are global, complex or rare-disease related, across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

However logistically challenging, our specialized skill set quickly gets vaccine trials up and running: a key factor when testing a vaccine that is needed urgently. Our experience – and success – has been proven on Zika virus, COVID-19 and Influenza studies.

Biostatistics

A Statistics Driven CRO

We are biostatisticians at heart. Today, our biomedical data science and bioinformatics experts can also deliver infectious disease and vaccines studies through sophisticated analysis of genomic, proteomic, transcriptomic, metabolomic and other “omics” data analysis, and by using machine learning and big-data analysis tools.

Our biostatisticians work in collaboration with their regulatory colleagues and are expert in protocol writing, study design, randomization and subject blinding, data collection and analysis, reporting and regulatory submissions.
